Summary of the Book 'Eagles Of The Sky':

Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles (1974-2001) is an autobiographic non-fiction book written by former Eagles guitarist Don Felder. The book follows Felder from his less-privileged childhood through to the 21st century. Heaven and Hell the short version title for the book gained notoriety for expressing frank and often mean-spirited feelings to Eagles leaders Don Henley and Glenn Frey. Whether the claims were true or not has not been disclosed by Henley or Frey. Felder also discusses his split with the Eagles and how he was treated by former friends Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit both of whom he claims have not spoken to him since his termination. The book is the first autobiography from any member of the Eagles. The book contains several personal photos of Felder as a child and performing with various bands.
