Hateship Friendship Courtship Loveship Marriage is a book of short stories by Alice Munro published by McClelland and Stewart in 2001. In 2006 the story The Bear Came over the Mountain was adapted into a film Away from Her which was directed by Sarah Polley and produced by Atom Egoyan. A film adaptation of the story Hateship Friendship Courtship Loveship Marriage starring Julianne Moore and directed by Noam Murro has been slated for a 2011 release.
