Summary: [I think that this book is a very good read for anyone looking for a short SF story following up on the events at obsidian in the novel In darkness Bound. The way that the gender of the captian is never revealed and even at the end it is left to the speculation of the reader is one of the ways that this tale kept me wanting to read more.]
